Bandit is a 7yo Hinny that came to the Rescue is July of this year. A hinny is the offspring of a male horse and a female donkey. Bandit was purchased by a lovely couple. They wanted to give him a good, safe home and began work on training him a little further. Life became very busy for the couple, and wanting what was best for him, they decided to surrender to him to DCER. Prior to being turned out with their horses, he was doing good being haltered and was able to be ridden bareback. We are working on gaining his trust and being haltered, then our trainer will work with him to see what his full potential is.
